KN GROUP has once again returned to the MITOS building complex, reimagining the space in response to the needs of its new tenant, the Hellenic American Union.

The complex accommodates workspaces, meeting areas, and a hall for exhibitions and events. Furthermore, the courtyard and outdoor areas offer spots for pausing, resting and group gatherings.

The organization of work areas and the company's smooth operation established the key principles of designing and composition of the work environment. The central workspace building is treated as an open-plan area, with workstations arranged in small, self-contained groups interspersed with storage units and furniture.

In addition, three new enclosed meeting areas were constructed using glass partitions combined with fixed metal panels. The variation of materials creates an interplay between sightlines and rays of light.

The tenant company entrusted the KN GROUP team to experiment with the concept of meeting rooms. They created a framework using perforated sheet metal in deep-red color, which defines the meeting area within the space and makes it ideal for group activities.

Basic geometric shapes and bold colors define the new setting. All furniture pieces are custom-made, designed to meet the user's needs while simultaneously creating a pleasant and modern work environment.

Black color features boldly in the detailing of the buildings and the furniture, acting as a unifying link between the existing conditions and the new arrangement.
